Run Every Day In January

R.E.D JANUARY is a charity challenge helping to raise awareness and support for mental health issues, through the power of physical exertion. Could you join us?

The challenge is simple - to run (or walk, or engage in any physical activity of your choice) every day in January.

It could be anything from 5 minutes a day to 5 or 10K and beyond - it's entirely up to you.

Here's how to start: · Decide which challenge is right for you – it could be anything from running 5 minutes a day to 5 or 10k and beyond - or if running it not your thing then why not other activities such as walking, cycling, swimming or even yoga or pilates - choose the activity carefully and listen to your body as you will be doing it for 31 days! · Register on our Just Giving Page ( · Let others know you are taking part in RED and encourage them to sponsor you - all the money raised will go towards our Outdoor Therapy service that will provide new opportunities to improve mental and physical health through outdoor activities in Cumbria. · Share your plans, and post regular updates, on Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter with us and your sponsors - Facebook (/RunEveryDayJanuary and /SouthLakelandMind) and Twitter (@REDRunEveryDay and @SLakelandMind) - you will need support for this rewarding but demanding challenge!
