Judith’s Christmas pudding run

Langdale Christmas Pudding Run, Saturday 5 December

Christmas can be one of the hardest times of year for those coping with mental illness. So we have to keep providing services, and we won’t let up on the fundraising which means we can keep going. Please give a massive valley-shaking cheer for Judith if you go along to support the runners at the Langdale Christmas Pudding Run, and please make her efforts really count by donating to us with whatever you can afford.

Judith Moore, who is taking the strain for South Lakeland Mind, said:

‘I've recently got involved with South Lakeland Mind through volunteering to do a supermarket collection. I was surprised and touched by how many people said how vital the charity was and how they or someone they knew had needed Mind. People often find it difficult to talk about their mental health, I've struggled in the past myself. Please help me to raise money for Mind so that they can help people at hard times in their lives. Thanks!’

Volunteer supporters of the charity have been working hard to fundraise throughout 2015. Our Ceilidh on Saturday 14 November raised more than £1100 – people are showing such generosity and we are incredibly grateful. You can make a donation by popping into the charity’s office in Kendal – we’re at Stricklandgate House (92 Stricklandgate). Or go to Just Giving online and support Judith direct:
