Dancing into the party season

Ceilidh, Saturday 14 November at The Castle Street Centre in Kendal. Tickets £7.50

Part of our ongoing HELP fundraising campaign.

We’ll be celebrating a year of fundraising along with Tumbling Tom Ceilidh Band – and a bar! Please come along and enjoy a fantastic night among friends. Just by buying your ticket you’ll be keeping the desperately needed money coming in – so we can keep helping the people who need our support.

You can get your tickets by popping by the charity’s office in Kendal – we’re at Stricklandgate House (92 Stricklandgate). Or call us on 01539 740591 and we’ll post them out to you.

Volunteer supporters of the charity have been working hard to fundraise throughout 2015, and through those efforts we’ve just reached a fantastic £14,456. That represents real awareness of the plight of some of our most vulnerable people

Jonathan Ingram, Chief Officer, said: ‘The dedication of volunteers, and the generosity of the public, has been amazing. We’ve had so many events over the past few months – the Green Door Art Auction, an open garden event in the summer, both singing and music events, collections at different supermarkets, street collections, participation in the gruelling Keswick to Barrow Walk, a sponsored bike ride all the way to Paris, and participation in the Great North Run and Kendal Torchlight.

‘What a year! But everyone has their personal reason to help. They know the difference that the charity makes, changing lives blighted by mental and emotional distress for the better, every day.

So please come along and celebrate where we’ve got to. And be part of our continuing fundraising efforts which mean we can keep helping the people who need us.’

Remember, 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem this year. We provide help, right here in our community.
